Armenian Citizen in Russia Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison

A Russian Sochi Regional Court has issued a guilty verdict to a Republic of Armenia citizen for a murder which took place on February 22, 2010. That day, the accused met with his friends and invited them out for coffee, when a fight broke out, reports Yuga.ru.

During the altercation, which continued at a metro stop, the accused stabbed his friend with a knife — a direct assault to his heart.

The court ruled that the accused was guilty in premeditated murder and has sentenced the man to 7 years imprisonment.
