Georgia Not Preparing to Sell Pipeline, Says Energy Minister

Georgia’s Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri assured that the government is not preparing to sell the main gas pipeline.

“It’s possible that we’ll invest 25% of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation’s stock in the London Stock Exchange. As for the sale, Georgia isn’t preparing to sell any of its gas pipelines,” said Khetaguri after a government session.

As previously reported, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is interested in Georgia’s and neighboring states’ fuel channels.
