Armavia Denies Rumors of Flights Cancelled Due to Debt

This morning, Armenian media reported that national airline carrier Armavia has cancelled or delayed a number of flights because of debts.

Speaking with Epress.am, Armavia press spokesperson Nana Avetisova called the rumors “nonsense.”

“There was a technical issue, which has already been resolved: let them not spread such rumors,” she said.

In her words, they are presently accounting for passengers.

According to the official site of Armenia’s international airport Zvartnots.am, Armavia already had at least three flights this morning: to Moscow, Tbilisi and Zurich.
