Georgia, Azerbaijan Continue to Discuss Border Delimitation

On Sept. 23–24, the next round of joint Georgian-Azerbaijani discussions on the delimitation and demarcation of the two countries’ border will take place, reports 1news.az.

Discussions with take place in the Balakan district of Azerbaijan, which also borders Georgia, with the participation of a delegation of diplomats and experts from the two countries including Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalap Khalapov and Georgia’s Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania

The committee also will examine the boundary corridor and will discuss issues concerning the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Georgian border.
