Artbridge Aims to Introduce Contemporary Armenian Authors to the Public

Artbridge Bookstore Cafe, within the frames of a 7-day festival known as “Returning to Books”, will be organizing a book exhibit and sale near the Jazzve open-air cafe near Opera Square from Oct. 1–3. A meeting with contemporary Armenian writers is set to take place on Oct. 2.

Various authors including Yervand Petrosyan, Yuri Sahakyan, Karine Khodikyan, Razmik Davoyan and Vahram Sahakyan have been invited to the event.

Books will be only by local Armenian authors and mainly in Armenian; however, Artbridge has stated that some English-language books as well.

One of the aims of the book exhibit and sale is to introduce Armenian authors to the public and promote the love of books, according to a release issued by the organizers.
