Natural Gas Supply to Armenia Restored

At 12 pm on Dec. 6, the full volume of natural gas to the Republic of Armenia, which comprises 5.5–6 million cubic meters daily, was restored, according to ArmRosGazprom CJSC.

Recall that as a result of a Nov. 24 accident on the Sioni-Gudauri section of the North Caucasus–Transcaucasus pipeline, the natural gas supply was reduced to 4 million cubic meters daily.

According to ArmRosGazprom, despite the drop in gas supply, no change in Armenia’s consumer market was noted as the uninterrupted gas supply was provided for by internal reserves.
