The march organized by the Armenian National Congress to mark Human Rights Day began at 4 pm in central Yerevan today.

What appeared to be thousands of marchers walked down Mashtots Blvd., Amiryan St., Republic Square, Nalbandian St., Tumanyan St. and Northern Ave.

About a dozen or so police officers accompanied demonstrators during the march, which wrapped up at Northern Ave.
