Who will be Armenia’s Next Justice Minister?

Discussed among government circles yesterday was who will replace RA Minister of Justice Gevorg Danielyan, who was let go from his post yesterday after not carrying out instructions to reprimand a subordinate, reports local daily Jamanak (“Times”).

According to the daily, three names were being proposed: RA President Serzh Sargysan’s advisor Gevorg Kostanyan, deputy police chief Artur Osikyan, and RA General Prosecutor Aghvan Hovsepyan. 

Jamanak reports that if Hovsepyan takes up the new post, then Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan will take up the position of general prosecutor.
