Gagik Tsarukyan’s Colleague Shot Dead in Moscow

On the evening of Dec. 10, Armenian businessman Ara Khachatryan was shot in the center of Moscow. His body was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the back of his car. A criminal case has been launched, reports Regnum news agency. 

Khachatryan, the CEO of Luding Ltd.’s St. Petersburg office (“LUDING-SPb”), the official distributor in Russia for Noy factory in Armenia belonging to Prosperous Armenia party leader and notorious businessman Gagik Tsarukyan. 

It’s interesting to note that on the same day, the Russian daily Kommersant reported that Russian federal state enterprise Trading House “Kremlin” (controlled by the Russian president’s administration affairs department) signed a licensing agreement with the well-known Armenian brandy, wine and vodka factory Ararat to issue the premium cognac “Kremlin Award.”

The exclusive distributor in Russia, Luding must sell more than 120,000 bottles in 2011.
