“All they care is money”. Armenian TV Channels to Unite Efforts

Despite the decision today by the National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) on depriving A1+ of the broadcasting right for the 13th time, A1+ has been, is and will continue working, said A1+ television company president Mesrop Movsesyan.

According to Movsesyan, there is nothing to be surprised about the NCTR decision. The zero points given by the Commission Movsesyan related to the current situation in Armenia and not to the package presented by A1+ for the contest.

“It’s clear for everyone where those points come from and who makes decisions in this country. As I see, here nobody cares about the decisions and opinions of the international structures. All they care is money. It has clouded the judgment of these people. And to earn that money they do not need independent television and they have found a brilliant solution for it,” he said.

A1+ company president assured that the legal proceedings would follow. “I already know all the violations that took place but I didn’t make them public. All these violations show that the decision had already been made,” mentioned Movsesyan. As to today’s decision on depriving ALM television company of the broadcasting right, he said: “I think we will join our efforts and will restore the rule of law in Armenia”.
