Two Young Armenian Boys Injured from Land Mine

At around 9 am on Jan. 24, information was received that on Jan. 23 at around 6 pm, Gevorg Grigoryan, 17, and Shiraz Ghazaryan, 23, found a parcel that looked like a land mine in the area near Lernagog village in Armavir marz. They began to hit the parcel with stones, which resulted in an explosion, reports Emergency Channel Information Center.

As a result of the blast, Grigoryan and Ghazaryan received bodily wounds of varying degrees and were taken to Yerevan’s Armenia medical center.

Doctors say the boys’ condition is serious.
