Parliamentary Discussions on Yerevan Street Traders’ Complaints Postponed

The National Assembly today postponed the discussion on issues related to street trade in Yerevan. This news was conveyed to Epress.am earlier by those outside the parliament building today protesting the city’s ban on street trade.

As reported earlier today, a few representatives of the protesting street vendors were invited inside parliament. The “delegates” were listened to and their remarks duly noted, after which they were told that today’s discussion would be postponed as Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan is outside the capital. After returning to Yerevan, Karapetyan is to become familiar with the nature of the complaint after which a final decision on the fate of street vendors will be made.
