Yesterday, an altercation broke out in Elysee cafe in the Russian city of Saratov.
Citing law enforcement agencies, Russian news agency Sight-Info citing reports that the altercation took place between a 25-year-old Armenian and a 40-year-old Azerbaijani, both of whom have been admitted to hospital — the former for a gunshot wound to the leg; the latter, for a concussion. The incident occurred at 2 am.
According to one of the victims, the shot was fired as a means of self-defense. In connection with the case, 11 cafe patrons were taken to the police station to provide witness testimonies. An investigation is currently underway.
