Local Filmmaker Tigran Khzmalyan’s Films Screened in Los Angeles

Tigran Khzmalyan’s films were screened at the Glendale Central Library on Jun. 4, during the second part of Sardarapet members’ visit to the US.

According to a press release issued by the Yerevan-based civic movement, the audience viewed three of Khzmalyan’s documentary films: Yerevan’s Greatest Secret (2007), Portrait of Jesus Alive (2009), and To Ararat (2010). A discussion followed the screening.

More than 180 people from Los Angeles and the surrounding districts were present at the screening.

Sardarapat member Garegin Chugaszyan will present his multimedia work “Komitas: The Life and Works” at 7 pm on Jun. 6 in the Glendale Central Library Auditorium. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
