Azerbaijani UEFA Delegate Can’t Influence Armenia’s FC Ulisses Match

UEFA has appointed head of the International Department of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Orkhan Huseynzade to be a UEFA match delegate of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, which will take place on Jun. 30 in Budapest between Ferencvárosi Torna Club (Hungary) and FC Ulisses (Armenia), according to a statement on the AFFA website.

All matches played under UEFA’s auspices are observed and controlled by a delegate, whose responsibilities include monitoring conditions of the match, including inspecting the stadium, field and that the colors match on the players shirts, and then prepare a report to UEFA. Delegates cannot influence the outcome of a match.
