No Ceasefire Violation Noted by OSCE on Karabakh–Azerbaijan Line of Contact

On Jul. 5, according to the agreement with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE mission held a regular monitoring of the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces’ Line of Contact, in the Askeran direction, reads a press release issued by the de-facto republic’s foreign affairs press service.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was held by Coordinator of the OSCE Office, Lieutenant Colonel Imre Palatinus (Hungary) and Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary).

From the positions of the Azerbaijani side, the monitoring group comprised Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office Christo Christov (Bulgaria) and William Prior (Great Britain).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the ceasefire regime was noted.
