Armenian Expo 2011 Dedicated to 20 Years of Independence Launched

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan participated at the opening of the 11th regional trade and industry Armenia Expo 2011 forum, which kicked off at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex today.

 

The exhibition aims to highlight the potential of local producers along with a dozen other participants from abroad, as well as Armenia’s economic achievements in the years of independence. Nagorno-Karabakh too is represented at the Expo, demonstrating the disputed republic’s economic achievements in twenty years of its independence, according to a statement issued by the Armenian president’s office.

 

Sargsyan toured the pavilions and familiarized himself with the exhibits that represent nearly all the different sectors of the economy.

 

The Expo is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence and runs through till Sept. 11.
