Armenia’s Natural Gas Supply Temporarily Suspended

The Georgian Gas Transportation Company officially alerted ArmRosGazprom, the company that supplies consumer gas to Armenia, that beginning 11 am on Sept. 22 the natural gas supply to Armenia will be temporarily suspended. The Georgian company is expected to connect a new section of the Saguramo-Tsiteli Khidi (“Red Bridge”) gas pipeline implemented by the Georgian Oil & Gas Corporation, connected to the reconstruction of a road to bypass Tbilisi. Also planned are works to eliminate gas leakage and to restore areas prone to landslides.

ArmRosGazprom informs residents of Armenia that during this time gas will be supplied to consumers through their reserve supply without restrictions.
