Armenian Soldier Shot on Line of Contact

On Feb. 25, Arman Murad Sedrakyan, a conscript serving in one of the Armenian Armed Forces’ military bases, received bodily injuries from a shot in the abdomen fired by the enemy on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Line of Contact, senior officer with the public relations division at the RA Defense Ministry investigation service Meri Sargsyan informed Epress.am.

Initially, Sedrakyan, who had served one-and-a-half years of his two-year mandatory service, was moved to the hospital in Noyemberyan, then hours later moved to the Central Clinical Military Hospital in Yerevan. The soldier’s condition is stable.

The defense ministry representative also mentioned that a case under charges of attempt to commit murder has been filed.
