Young Man Taken to Hospital After Brawl in Vanadzor Military Unit

A brawl occurred early this morning in a military unit in Armenia's third-largest city, Vanadzor. As reported by Lori News [AM], which cited its sources, Yerevan resident Hayk G., 21, went to the military unit at around 4 am on Thursday to visit his brother who is serving there.

For as yet unknown reasons, a verbal altercation occurred among a few soldiers, which escalated to physical violence. Hayk was taken to Vanadzor's military hospital as a result of incurring several injuries on his face and head.
