Armenian Judge Accumulated 20 Million in a Year But Has Annual Income of 14 Million: Newspaper

Judge Karine Petrosyan of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan in a declaration presented to the Ethics Committee of Senior Officials of the Republic of Armenia in 2012 noted that she has 20 million AMD; meanwhile, there was no money in her account at the start of the year, reports local daily Zhoghovurd.

Petrosyan has assumed her position as a judge since 2009.

"From where [she got] 20 million dram in one year, the judge did not explain, though she has an annual income of 14 million 154 dram, with which she has to live and accumulate savings.

"Let us note as well that the judge declared [ownership] of a Renault make vehicle valued at 7.8 million dram," reports the newspaper.
