More Than 50 Cattle Infected with Brucellosis Slaughtered in Armenian Village

More than 50 livestock infected with brucellosis were slaughtered in the village of Geghashen in Armenia's Kotayk marz (province), head of the Veterinary Department of the State Service for Food Safety Hovhannes Mkrtchyan told Epress.am. 

According to him, the disease was discovered as a result of the diagnostic work conducted among animals annually throughout the country.

"Investigations continue in Geghashen, as well as the culling of diseased animals," he said.
