Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s Visits and Receptions in 2013

In 2013, RA President Serzh Sargsyan officially received 2 presidents and 14 ministers of foreign affairs, and made 16 state and official visits. This was stated today by RA Chief of Presidential Staff Vigen Sargsyan during the hearings on the 2013 budget performance report. 

Vigen Sargsyan said the Armenian head of state also welcomed Charles, Prince of Wales, on a private visit, as well as 30 foreign ambassadors.

In 2013, presidential staff compiled around 230 inquiries and reports, presented 228 laws and 130 international treaties to be signed by the president, and prepared 375 decrees, 241 orders, and 604 statements. The Office of the President received around 12,100 complaints and admitted 6,700 citizens. 

The total expenditure of the Office of the President in 2013 comprised 2.968 billion AMD  (about $7.2 million USD), or 97.4% of the target. For the year, 106.3 million AMD ($257,130) was saved.
