Armenian Defense Ministry did not Mention Yerevan WWII Parade or Russian Base’s Participation

Yesterday, in Moscow, the Armenian and Russian Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and Sergey Shoygu have arranged to hold a joint military parade in Yerevan for the 70th anniversary of World War II. The Russian Ria Novosti news agency reported that the Russian 102nd military base, located in Gyumri, will also participate in the parade.

Haykakan Zhamanak paper stresses that there was a message released by the Armenian Defense Ministry, about the meeting between the Defense Ministers, in which there was no mention of the military parade or the Russian military base’s participation.
