Two Die After Car and Army Truck Collide in Armenia

At around 9:30 am on January 18, a ZIL-131 carrying soldiers and a VAZ-2107 collided on the Sisian-Shaki highway, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. According to the official statement, two passengers of the VAZ-2107 – Arshak and Martik Hovhannisyan, died as a result of the accident, while the third passenger, Elmira Sargsyan, was taken to the Sisian Medical Center with with various injuries.

“None of the soldiers were injured; they are currently being transported to their military car in another car,” Shamshyan.com writes.
