HAK ‘Picket’ in Front of RA General Prosecutor’s Office Tomorrow

At 2 pm local time tomorrow, the opposition group Armenian National Congress (HAK) will be organizing a “picket” in front of the General Prosecutor’s office. This news was conveyed to Epress.am by HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrossian’s press spokesperson, Arman Musinyan.

“Our main demand is to ensure Nikol Pashinyan’s safety and to carry out an independent investigation, with the participation of International Red Cross representatives,” he said.

On this occasion, the opposition bloc has issued a statement:

“We call on all foreign representations in Armenia and Armenian and international organizations working in the areas of human rights, and speech and press freedom to influence the RA authorities to carry out this demand of ours, as well as raise their voice against the insidious and criminal state plans and activities that threaten the safety of political prisoner Nikol Pashinyan. We urge everyone to participate with the same demands in the picket organized in front of the RA General Prosecution on Friday, Nov. 12 at 2 pm.”
