{"id":101706,"date":"2011-06-01T17:42:45","date_gmt":"2011-06-01T12:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=101706"},"modified":"2011-06-01T17:42:45","modified_gmt":"2011-06-01T12:42:45","slug":"on-international-childrens-day-children-protest-armenian-prime-ministers-decision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/06\/01\/on-international-childrens-day-children-protest-armenian-prime-ministers-decision.html","title":{"rendered":"On International Children&#8217;s Day, Children Protest Armenian Prime Minister&#8217;s Decision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A protest took place on International Children&#8217;s Day today outside the former kindergarten at Nalbandian 106\/1 in Yerevan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[Armenian] Prime MInister Tigran Sargsyan has bypassed the law and citing a 2003 Armenian government decision, sold the kindergarten at Nalbandian 106\/1 to Avag Shin (&#8220;Good Construction&#8221;) Ltd.,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkz.am\/\"><strong>Victims of State Needs NGO<\/strong><\/a> president Setrak Baghdasaryan told Organize-now.am during the protest.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In 2005, the National Assembly approved a law according to which it is prohibited to privatize educational, middle and high school institutions, but in Mar. 2010, [Armenian] Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, bypassing this law, cites a 2003 decision and sells the two-storey kindergarten overseen by the police to Avag Shin Ltd., when first [enforced] here is the Republic&#8217;s Constitution, then the law, and then the decision.
