{"id":102582,"date":"2011-06-03T17:34:37","date_gmt":"2011-06-03T12:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=102582"},"modified":"2011-06-03T17:34:37","modified_gmt":"2011-06-03T12:34:37","slug":"female-sex-workers-in-armenia-report-high-instances-of-condom-use-errors-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/06\/03\/female-sex-workers-in-armenia-report-high-instances-of-condom-use-errors-study.html","title":{"rendered":"Female Sex Workers in Armenia Report High Instances of Condom-Use Errors: Study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Researchers in Atlanta conducted a cross-sectional study on &#8220;predictors of condom errors among sex workers in Armenia&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/ijsa.rsmjournals.com\/cgi\/content\/abstract\/22\/3\/126\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">published in the International Journal of STD &amp; AIDS<\/span><\/strong><\/a>) and found that errors in condom use are prevalent among this population in Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>The study looked at condom-use errors among female sex workers (FSWs) in Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>According to the abstract: &#8220;One hundred and seventeen street-based FSWs aged 20\u201352 years completed an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Condom-use errors were reported by 78.0% of participants.
