Two fire trucks arrived on the scene to put out the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Epress.am, Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan said the affected area is separated from the genocide memorial area by a barbed wire fence and belongs to the water utility companies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The memorial has nothing to do with that area \u2014 the fire caught in the aquatic farm area. There, there are dried grass, trees, and most likely, someone threw a cigarette and it started the fire. The area is not that large \u2014 about 50 square meters.
