{"id":112250,"date":"2011-07-11T10:59:52","date_gmt":"2011-07-11T05:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=112250"},"modified":"2011-07-11T10:59:52","modified_gmt":"2011-07-11T05:59:52","slug":"gadhafis-son-says-libya-in-talks-with-france-el-khabar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/07\/11\/gadhafis-son-says-libya-in-talks-with-france-el-khabar.html","title":{"rendered":"Gadhafi&#8217;s Son Says Libya in Talks with France: El-Khabar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi\u2019s son, Saif al-Islam, said his father\u2019s government is in talks with France, the Algerian El-Khabar newspaper said today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2011-07-11\/qaddafi-s-son-says-libya-in-talks-with-france-el-khabar-says.html\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">reports Bloomberg<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Libyan regime is negotiating with France and not with rebels, who are battling the Libyan leader, El-Khabar quoted Gadhafi\u2019s son as saying in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>Gadhafi also said that a Libyan envoy to Paris had received a message from French President Nicolas Sarkozy saying that once an agreement had been forged between France and his father\u2019s administration, the French would then force the rebel\u2019s National Transitional Council to agree to a ceasefire, El-Khabar said.<\/p>\n<p>If France wants to sign oil deals with Libya and wants its companies to return to the country, then it would have to talk to the Gadhafi government, El-Khabar cited Gadhafi\u2019s son as saying.
