{"id":114065,"date":"2011-07-18T11:21:49","date_gmt":"2011-07-18T06:21:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=114065"},"modified":"2011-07-18T11:21:49","modified_gmt":"2011-07-18T06:21:49","slug":"hillary-clinton-discussed-nagorno-karabakh-in-istanbul-in-detail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/07\/18\/hillary-clinton-discussed-nagorno-karabakh-in-istanbul-in-detail.html","title":{"rendered":"Hillary Clinton Discussed Nagorno-Karabakh in Istanbul &#8216;in Detail&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by Turkish newspaper Sabah, during the joint press conference took place after the meeting, Davutoglu said the parties &#8220;discussed the situation in the Caucasus in detail,&#8221; noting the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in particular.<\/p>\n<p>According to Davutoglu, they also discussed Armenia-Turkey relations.<\/p>\n<p>The disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh broke away from Azerbaijan after a bloody war in the 1990s and is populated mainly by ethnic Armenians.
