{"id":115450,"date":"2011-07-22T13:46:48","date_gmt":"2011-07-22T08:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=115450"},"modified":"2011-07-22T14:05:58","modified_gmt":"2011-07-22T09:05:58","slug":"georgia-school-to-be-built-in-armenian-populated-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/07\/22\/georgia-school-to-be-built-in-armenian-populated-region.html","title":{"rendered":"Georgian School to be Built in Armenian-Populated Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of Georgia&#8217;s Ministry of Education and Science is building a new school in the Armenian-populated Georgian region of Javakheti, reports Georgia Online.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of public school No. 3 in Akhalkalaki was initiated by first deputy education minister <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mes.gov.ge\/content.php?id=141&amp;lang=eng\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Akaki Seperteladze<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. During his visit to Akhalkalaki, Seperteladze distributed gold and silver medals to 48 honor students from schools in Akhaltsikhe, Aspindza and Ninotsminda.<\/p>\n<p>The old No. 3 school building was destroyed during the 1988 Spitak earthquake. Since then, the 100 students at this school were studying in a residential housing complex.
