Exhibit curator Sonia Balassanian on Tuesday conveyed news of the post-humous exhibit titled &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/accea.info\/en\/events\/exhibitions\/list\/34\/1070\/1104\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Celebration of Life<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to Balassanian, the exhibit will showcase the work Kareyan created over a 17-year period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2Kareyan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122401\" title=\"2Kareyan\" src=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2Kareyan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2Kareyan.jpg 350w, https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/2Kareyan-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Four different types of work will be exhibited: the first part is work from his youth, when he was an activist who wanted to change something in the art arena. He has written texts about pure work and he made speeches, explaining what he understands by saying &#8216;pure work&#8217;,&#8221; said Grigoryan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/6Kareyan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122405\" title=\"6Kareyan\" src=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/6Kareyan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/6Kareyan.jpg 450w, https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/6Kareyan-300x233.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/7Kareyan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122406\" title=\"7Kareyan\" src=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/7Kareyan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/7Kareyan.jpg 350w, https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/7Kareyan-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Art critic Lilit Sargsyan, in turn, emphasized the exhibit&#8217;s title, &#8220;Celebration of Life,&#8221; noting that though there wasn&#8217;t an internal agreement to not speak of David Kareyan&#8217;s being no longer, everyone, independent from each other, speak of Kareyan&#8217;s being.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kareyan, during the short period of his life, was able to pass along the 20-year history of Armenia&#8217;s independence through his life and his work,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/8Kareyan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122407\" title=\"8Kareyan\" src=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/8Kareyan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/8Kareyan.jpg 350w, https:\/\/epress.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/8Kareyan-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>David Kareyan was fatally injured on Jan. 3, 2011, when a car struck him as he was crossing the street.
