However, on May 10, a customer reportedly paid 510 drams ($1.38 USD) \u2014 nearly one-and-a-half-times more than the advertised price.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The State Commission ruled to fine the supermarket chain 500,000 drams ($1,357 USD).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note, the Fresh supermarket chain has been sold to another major player in the Armenian market \u2014 Star supermarket. Speaking to Epress.am on Saturday, Star Chief Executive Director Vahan Kerobyan noted that in order to seal the deal the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition&#8217;s approval and signing of the final documents are necessary.
