At the start of the session, Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D) MP Armen Rustamyan and Heritage Party MP Armen Martirosyan suggested parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan (pictured) appeal to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan with a proposal to recall the Armenia-Turkey Protocols from parliament.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The National Assembly chair, however, suggested the parliament wait till Turkey&#8217;s government takes certain steps. According to Abrahamyan, only when there are no appropriate steps taken by Turkey will Armenia do something about it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In October 2009, Armenia and Turkey made history when the two neighboring states signed protocols on normalizing relations; however, both countries have yet to ratify the agreement.
