{"id":129242,"date":"2011-09-23T13:48:02","date_gmt":"2011-09-23T08:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=129242"},"modified":"2011-09-23T14:04:41","modified_gmt":"2011-09-23T09:04:41","slug":"italian-parents-call-on-lawyers-to-evict-41-year-old-son","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/09\/23\/italian-parents-call-on-lawyers-to-evict-41-year-old-son.html","title":{"rendered":"Italian Parents Call on Lawyers to Evict 41-Year-Old Son"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Italian couple have sought legal help to persuade their 41-year-old son to fly the nest, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-europe-14995588\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">reports the BBC<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, citing Italian media.<\/p>\n<p>The Venetian parents, who have not been named, say their son has a job but refuses to leave home and wants his clothes washed and his meals prepared.<\/p>\n<p>They have sought help from lawyers at the consumer association Adico.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Andrea Camp said a letter was sent to the son, advising him to leave home in six days or face legal action.<\/p>\n<p>If he refuses, lawyers will ask a court in Venice to issue a protection order for the elderly parents against their son.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We cannot do it any more,&#8221; the father was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My wife is suffering from stress and had to be hospitalized. He [the son] has a good job but still lives at home.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He demands that his clothes be washed and ironed and his meals prepared. He really has no intention of leaving.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Some reports said the son had also become aggressive.<\/p>\n<p>The couple turned to Adico after hearing of a similar case earlier this month in which Adico persuaded a son to leave home.
