{"id":131351,"date":"2011-09-30T16:34:14","date_gmt":"2011-09-30T11:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=131351"},"modified":"2011-09-30T17:58:10","modified_gmt":"2011-09-30T12:58:10","slug":"paruyr-hayrikyan-wont-be-choosing-the-lesser-of-two-evils","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/09\/30\/paruyr-hayrikyan-wont-be-choosing-the-lesser-of-two-evils.html","title":{"rendered":"Paruyr Hayrikyan Won&#8217;t be Choosing &#8216;the Lesser of Two Evils&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Armenia&#8217;s political arena today there are two main polarities \u2014 &#8220;the so-called coalition and so-called HAK [the Armenian National Congress],&#8221; said Union for Self-Determination (AIM) party leader Paruyr Hayrikyan, speaking to journalists in Yerevan today about the possible rearrangements in the political scene.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There might be changes, first and foremost, in the opposition camp,&#8221; he said, noting that he doesn&#8217;t consider the creation of new polarities as an end in itself.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want us to gather around a worthy system,&#8221; said the party leader.<\/p>\n<p>Turning his attention to HAK, he declared that it&#8217;s quite difficult to join the opposition bloc &#8220;especially for those who have a memory.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People with a healthy capacity for rational or intellectual thought find it difficult to decide where to go.
