{"id":134355,"date":"2011-10-11T11:30:43","date_gmt":"2011-10-11T06:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=134355"},"modified":"2011-10-11T11:32:53","modified_gmt":"2011-10-11T06:32:53","slug":"identity-of-third-body-found-in-tavush-landslide-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/10\/11\/identity-of-third-body-found-in-tavush-landslide-confirmed.html","title":{"rendered":"Identity of Third Body Found in Tavush Landslide Confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A third body was uncovered this morning from the landslide that struck a segment of the main road linking Bagratashen to Vanadzor in Armenia\u2019s Tavush marz (province), according to a <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mes.am\/index.php?obj_id=686&amp;nt=2\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">statement<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> on the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations&#8217; official website.<\/p>\n<p>The body was identified at 10:10 am: it was resident of Lchkadzor village Norik Mirzoyan, 72, one of those earlier named missing.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, search and rescue workers <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2011\/10\/10\/two-bodies-uncovered-from-tavush-marz-landslide-three-people-still-missing.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">discovered<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> two other bodies on Monday morning, that of Yerevan residents and brothers Armen Sorsumatyan, 38, and Mekhak Sorsumatyan, 47, who were found dead inside their Merecedes C 220.<\/p>\n<p>There are now 2 people still missing.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, at 7:03 pm on Oct. 2, a landslide struck the 83rd kilometer mark on the Vanadzor-Bagratashen M6 highway. The road has become unsurpassable, while downed electric poles resulted in blackouts in the nearby city of Ayrum and the village of Lchkadzor. The collapsed section is about 300 meters in length, with an additional 130 meters being considered dangerous.
