{"id":136337,"date":"2011-10-24T10:53:31","date_gmt":"2011-10-24T05:53:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=136337"},"modified":"2011-10-24T11:02:11","modified_gmt":"2011-10-24T06:02:11","slug":"armenia-prepared-to-provide-earthquake-relief-to-turkey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/10\/24\/armenia-prepared-to-provide-earthquake-relief-to-turkey.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenia Prepared to Provide Earthquake Relief to Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An emergency meeting led by RA Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan was called yesterday at the ministry&#8217;s Crisis Management Center, during which time the preparedness of the ministry&#8217;s rescue units was discuss.<\/p>\n<p>Through UN cables, Armenia, along with 20 other countries, has expressed its preparedness and willingness to send rescue units to Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, Armenia assisted Turkey in 1999 and 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey&#8217;s eastern Van region on Sunday, resulting in hundreds of casualties and many more injured.
