{"id":137613,"date":"2011-10-28T11:55:16","date_gmt":"2011-10-28T06:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=137613"},"modified":"2011-10-28T12:05:05","modified_gmt":"2011-10-28T07:05:05","slug":"armenia-and-eu-sign-declaration-become-partners-in-mobility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/10\/28\/armenia-and-eu-sign-declaration-become-partners-in-mobility.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenia and EU Sign Declaration, Become Partners in Mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Oct. 27, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, the EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs Cecilia Malmstr\u00f6m and the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the EU member-states signed a Joint Declaration on a Mobility Partnership between Armenia and the EU, according to a <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mfa.am\/en\/press-releases\/item\/2011\/10\/27\/a_eu\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">statement<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> issued by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>At the ceremony of the signing of the Declaration, Nalbandian, expressing satisfaction with the signing of the Declaration, mentioned that facilitating mobility of people and stimulating and strengthening contacts between the citizens of Armenia and the EU are an important element of Armenia\u2019s European rapprochement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe welcome the proposal of the European Commission to launch the negotiations over the visa facilitation regime between Armenia and the EU and we hope that the European Council will very rapidly improve the mandate for launching the negotiations.
