{"id":142625,"date":"2011-11-18T13:26:18","date_gmt":"2011-11-18T09:26:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=142625"},"modified":"2011-11-18T13:59:34","modified_gmt":"2011-11-18T09:59:34","slug":"30-turkey-public-officials-to-be-prosecuted-for-aiding-abetting-dinks-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/11\/18\/30-turkey-public-officials-to-be-prosecuted-for-aiding-abetting-dinks-murder.html","title":{"rendered":"30 Turkey Public Officials to be Prosecuted for Aiding, Abetting Dink&#8217;s murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A prosecutor overseeing an investigation into claims of negligence by public officials in protecting Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, who was shot dead in 2007, has decided to prosecute 30 high-level public officials, including \u0130stanbul&#8217;s former governor and police chief, on charges of \u201caiding and abetting murder\u201d instead of negligence, reports <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.todayszaman.com\/news-263081-30-public-officials-to-be-prosecuted-for-aiding-abetting-dinks-murder.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Today&#8217;s Zaman<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday that prosecutor Muammer Akka\u015f recently filed a non-prosecution order for the 30 suspects on negligence charges after the denial of permission from the \u0130stanbul Governor&#8217;s Office to launch a probe against the suspects.
