Members of the comedy troupe Vitamin Club don’t go after money and don’t perform at weddings, said Vitamin Club member, comedian, actor Aram MP3 in conversation with local daily Hraparak.<\/p>\n
“Today, due to ratings, many of us could make a lot of money \u2014 where? By hosting weddings, but none of us perform at weddings \u2014 that’s what we decided,” he said.<\/p>\n
“Running after money very easily leads to destruction. They didn’t like you at the very beginning because you had ratings; they liked your character, and you shouldn’t lose that. There’s an expression: to sell your soul to the devil. In this case, consider money to be the devil, and those types of people who always go after money always perish,” he said.<\/p>\n
Aram MP3 didn’t rule out the possibility that if he had an offer from abroad that he might agree to leave Armenia \u2014 however, on the condition that he returns.<\/p>\n
“But that I want to leave this country, that I don’t like this country \u2014 I’m not one of those people [who believes that]. I had the chance, but I didn’t go,” he said.<\/p>\n
Speaking about taboos in his industry, Aram MP3 said there are no specific taboos; they simply realize that there are topics which they shouldn’t address \u2014 “because our people don’t take it lightly”. In the comedian’s opinion, such topics are patriotism and war.<\/p>\n
