The <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moh.am\/?section=news\/open&amp;id=143&amp;nid=1507\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">RA Ministry of Healthcare<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> also notes that there are an estimated 2,500 people living with HIV in Armenia.<\/p>\n<p>A number of<strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinkarmenia.org\/en\/2011\/11\/gettingtozero\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">events<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong> are planned to mark World AIDS Day in the country today. A march was organized in downtown Yerevan just before 2 pm, and later, an &#8220;awards ceremony&#8221; took place which recognized 6 categories of HIV\/AIDS Advocates in 2011: local NGO\/representative, international organization\/representative, government institution\/representative, public figure, cultural figure and mass media outlet or journalist.
