{"id":146879,"date":"2011-12-07T12:29:46","date_gmt":"2011-12-07T08:29:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=146879"},"modified":"2011-12-07T12:44:47","modified_gmt":"2011-12-07T08:44:47","slug":"serzh-sargsyan-to-mp-arakel-now-what-kind-of-behavior-is-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/12\/07\/serzh-sargsyan-to-mp-arakel-now-what-kind-of-behavior-is-that.html","title":{"rendered":"Serzh Sargsyan to MP: &#8216;Arakel, Now What Kind of Behavior is That?&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) executive and board meetings, HHK leader and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan reprehended HHK executive member Arakel Movsisyan for cursing and calling fellow MP Armen Martirosyan an &#8220;animal&#8221; (or an &#8220;ass&#8221;), reports local daily Joghovurd, citing its sources.<\/p>\n<p>According to the paper, the reproof was quite brief: &#8220;Arakel, now what kind of behavior is that?&#8221; Movsisyan then reportedly hung his head and became silent, then added something akin to &#8220;I don&#8217;t behave myself, Mr. President.&#8221; According to media reports, Sargsyan heard no more as he moved on.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Movsisyan, in discussion with Joghovurd, had said that <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2011\/12\/01\/mp-who-insulted-armen-martirosyan-in-parliament-explains-why-he-called-him-an-ass.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">he couldn&#8217;t recall the incident<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> in parliament.<\/p>\n<p>To the journalist\u2019s comment that the video of him saying this has been uploaded online, the MP said, \u201cWell, I got angry, what should I do? It\u2019s not kindergarten after all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Explaining what it was in the opposition MP\u2019s speech that made him angry, Movsisyan said, \u201cHe thinks he\u2019s above the rest. He\u2019s waiting for everyone to be quiet so he can speak. He\u2019s treats us all like children. And that\u2019s why I got angry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recall, people were speaking while Martirosyan was presenting a bill in Armenia\u2019s National Assembly on Wednesday. As a result, Martirosyan stopped speaking and waited for the room to quiet down. Apparently, the HHK MP wasn\u2019t too pleased about that as from his seat in the back row, he shouted, \u201cI haven\u2019t come to listen to a speech by an ass like you!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re the ass!
