{"id":150610,"date":"2011-12-22T23:45:04","date_gmt":"2011-12-22T19:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=150610"},"modified":"2011-12-22T23:45:44","modified_gmt":"2011-12-22T19:45:44","slug":"armenia-foreign-minister-thanks-france-for-adopting-genocide-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2011\/12\/22\/armenia-foreign-minister-thanks-france-for-adopting-genocide-bill.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenia Foreign Minister Thanks France for Adopting Genocide Bill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>French lawmakers <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2011\/12\/22\/french-mps-pass-bill-criminalizing-denial-of-armenian-genocide.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>earlier today<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span> approved a bill making denial of any genocide recognized as such by the French state \u2014 including the Armenian Genocide \u2014 illegal.<\/p>\n<p>Voting against the bill were Union for Popular Movement (UMP) MPs Jacques Myard, Lionel Tardy, Michel Diefenbacher, Jean-Philippe Maurer and Jean Bardet.
