{"id":154972,"date":"2012-01-19T14:40:01","date_gmt":"2012-01-19T10:40:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=154972"},"modified":"2012-01-19T14:40:43","modified_gmt":"2012-01-19T10:40:43","slug":"armenian-americans-severed-hands-and-feet-found-under-hollywood-sign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2012\/01\/19\/armenian-americans-severed-hands-and-feet-found-under-hollywood-sign.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian-American&#8217;s Severed Hands and Feet Found Under Hollywood Sign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A pair of severed hands and some feet have been found underneath the famous Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, one day after a decapitated human head was discovered by dog walkers, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/northamerica\/usa\/9024313\/Severed-hands-and-feet-found-under-Hollywood-sign.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The Telegraph<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> reports.<\/p>\n<p>Cadaver dogs have been scouring the 4,200-acre Griffith Park in the hope of finding the man\u2019s body, after two female hikers spotted a head in a plastic bag.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives said they believed the feet and hands were removed from the same body, believed to be that of an Armenian American man in his 40s or 50s.<\/p>\n<p>After the discovery of the head, a cadaver dog found one of the hands in a bush and the other hand was found by a crime scene investigator a few hours later.<\/p>\n<p>The feet were discovered half-a-mile from the Hollywood sign.<\/p>\n<p>Police believe the head had recently been disposed of due to the absence of animal bites and decay.
