Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan: Court Postponed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Helsinki Citizens\u2019 Assembly Vanadzor Office President Artur Sakunts\u2019 lawsuit against Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan, which was supposed to be examined at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan today, was postponed.<\/p>\n<p>Sakunts made a motion to postpone the hearing as his attorney, Vahe Grigoryan, was in another court session at the time. Judge B. Grigoryan granted the motion. The next court date will be announced later.<\/p>\n<p>Note, Sakunts is asserting that the police chief, when he was RA Deputy Minister of Defense, defamed Helsinki Citizens\u2019 Assembly Vanadzor Office in several interviews he gave.
