Maybe it was because Buddy Guy brought up Al Green, telling the president, \u201cYou done started something and you gotta keep it up now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next thing you know, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/politics\/la-nn-obama-sings-blues-20120221,0,2232863.story\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Los Angeles Times<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> reports, Obama took the mic in hand and crooned, \u201cCome on, baby, don\u2019t you want to go\u201d \u2013 twice. He handed off to BB King briefly, then tacked on \u201cSweet Home Chicago\u201d for the finale (see video below).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe width=\"425\" height=\"344\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hhO1DnNKYbo?wmode=transparent\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen> <\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The rollicking blues concert was part of the \u201cIn Performance at the White House\u201d series airing on PBS. Previous concerts have featured Motown, Broadway, jazz, country, classical and Latin, the <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/at-white-house-bb-king-and-mick-jagger-among-others-to-play-the-blues\/2012\/02\/21\/gIQAlyHyRR_story.html?hpid=z2\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Washington Post<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The latest episode with Obama\u2019s star turn was intended to recognize Black History Month. It will be broadcast Monday, the <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/hostednews\/ap\/article\/ALeqM5ipta-occyniusVvjdszua0g9DGUA?docId=9c9f6898ba4842c98268b216be1347ff\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Associated Press<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> reported. This music speaks to something universal,&#8221; Obama told the crowd as the evening began. \u201cNo one goes through life without both joy and pain, triumph and sorrow.
