There wasn&#8217;t an opposition as such, that could change anything \u2014 everything was predictable. There was a small surprise with respect to the Heritage Party, which &#8220;practically didn&#8217;t change anything,&#8221; former education minister, Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex principal Ashot Bleyan told the <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aravot.am\/2012\/02\/22\/40927\/\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">online version of local daily Aravot<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now not only is there an opposition, but also it&#8217;s now a political force that&#8217;s independent and is trying to gather the maximum number of votes in parliament. Also opposition is the Prosperous Armenia Party,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The former education minister didn&#8217;t believe that Armenia&#8217;s second president, Robert Kocharian, will return to politics. According to him, Vartan Oskanian&#8217;s Prosperous Armenia Party membership puts an end to such thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>As for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia&#8217;s (HHK) activities, Bleyan has noticed that HHK has gathered its entire arsenal and this means that it&#8217;s worried. &#8220;It sees that the political field is different, that it&#8217;s no longer 2007, when everything was planned.&#8221;<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s parliamentary elections will essentially differ from the 2007 parliamentary elections.
