{"id":166155,"date":"2012-03-02T12:07:07","date_gmt":"2012-03-02T08:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/?p=166155"},"modified":"2012-03-02T12:38:16","modified_gmt":"2012-03-02T08:38:16","slug":"armenian-mp-critical-of-parliament-explains-why-she-will-no-longer-use-the-word-ethics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epress.am\/en\/2012\/03\/02\/armenian-mp-critical-of-parliament-explains-why-she-will-no-longer-use-the-word-ethics.html","title":{"rendered":"Armenian MP Critical of Parliament, Explains Why She Will No Longer Use the Word &#8216;Ethics&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>That which is happening in the National Assembly during the 2 four-day sessions so far this year should concern everyone, said Heritage Party MP Larisa Alaverdyan, speaking to journalists in parliament today.<\/p>\n<p>The opposition lawmaker particularly criticized the bill on emergency rule <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epress.am\/en\/2012\/03\/01\/emergency-rule-law-passes-in-armenian-parliament.html\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">adopted by parliament yesterday<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, whereby the president can turn to the military for help if police and other security forces are unable to maintain order during a state of emergency.<\/p>\n<p>Alaverdyan mentioned that the army&#8217;s involvement on Mar. 1, 2008, was clearly outside of the confines of the law.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now we want a law so that we can say [calling in the army] then was illegal because there was no law.
